A normal bottle, top to bottom
Unscrew the cap and drink. About 1.05 L, vacuum-insulated, 42 mm mouth. The cap has six magnets sealed inside, and that makes it the key.
The HideyBot bottle looks like an ordinary premium steel bottle: about 1 L, hot or cold. Unscrew the foot and there’s a stash. That’s the decoy. Behind it is a plain steel disc with no keyhole, and only the bottle’s own cap can open it.

Anyone who goes looking will find something. They just won’t find everything.
Unscrew the cap and drink. About 1.05 L, vacuum-insulated, 42 mm mouth. The cap has six magnets sealed inside, and that makes it the key.
Pull off the silicone boot and unscrew the foot. Inside is the decoy cradle: soft pads with room for a little cash or a spare key, or the optional 140 ml steel flask add-on. It’s the obvious secret, and that’s the trick.
Behind the decoy is a plain steel disc with no keyhole. Hold the cap to it and its magnets grip the disc. Push, turn about 40°, pull, and a hidden compartment of about 510 ml opens. Fits cash, cards, keys or a hardware crypto wallet.
To close: line up the notches, push in, turn back 40° and lift the cap off. The disc stays locked. Refit the decoy, foot and boot.
From the outside it’s just a bottle. Inside, it’s built like one too, with two compartments underneath.
Every bottle comes with the decoy cradle and the same 510 ml hidden compartment. The steel flask is an optional add-on that fits the decoy cradle.
Founding prices are for the first pre-order batch and are offered to the waitlist first. Struck-through prices are the planned list prices after launch. Shipping is a flat $9.95 within the US.
Prototype specification (Rev O). Figures are design targets and will be confirmed on production samples.
Yes, that’s the requirement. Every part that touches your drink (steel, cap, seals and, if you add it, the flask, its cap and gasket) is specified to FDA 21 CFR or LFGB food-contact standards. The drink cell is fully separate from both compartments underneath.
It’s a diversion safe: its job is to not look like a safe. The disc has no keyhole, no buttons and nothing to pry at, and it can’t turn or drop out without the cap’s magnets. Anyone who unscrews the foot finds the decoy and, usually, stops looking.
It isn’t a certified safe and won’t stop someone who takes the whole bottle and is determined to cut it open. Keep the cap with the bottle, as you would anyway.
Modern chip (EMV) and contactless cards, and RFID key cards and fobs, are generally fine around magnets. Cards that rely only on a magnetic stripe (some older bank cards, hotel keys and gift cards) can be wiped by a strong magnet, so keep those away from the lid or store them elsewhere. The magnets are sealed inside the cap and disc, with none exposed.
About 510 ml of space: rolled or folded cash, cards standing on edge, spare keys, a passport-sized pouch, or a hardware crypto wallet up to about 90 mm across the diagonal. It isn’t insulated, so it’s best for valuables rather than food.
Yes. Day to day it’s a 1 L insulated steel bottle for hot or cold drinks. The compartments sit below the drink cell and stay sealed off from it.
No. It’s designed to keep your own valuables out of sight from opportunistic thieves in places like a gym bag, hotel room, beach towel or a shelf at home. It isn’t designed or sold to get anything past security screening, venue checks or the law. Please follow airline, venue and local rules.
